Day 01: Arrival in Kochi
- Transfer to Hotel: Upon arrival in Cochin, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.
- Leisure Time: Enjoy your free time at leisure.
- Overnight Stay: Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02: Kochi City Tour by Car
- Breakfast: Start your day with breakfast.
- City Tour: Enjoy a full-day city tour of Cochin:
- Explore the old quarter of Fort Cochin with its colonial buildings from the Portuguese era.
- Walk along the seacoast promenade featuring typical Chinese fishing nets.
- Visit the Santa Cruz Basilica and the house of Vasco da Gama, who was buried in St. Francis Church in 1524.
- Tour the Mattancherry quarter, including the preserved Jewish ghetto and synagogue.
- Visit Mattancherry Palace, known for its unique frescoes of the Keralan school of art.
- Overnight Stay: Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Kochi to Munnar by Car
- Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast before departure.
- Transfer to Munnar: Travel to Munnar, a hill station in the heart of Kerala’s tea region, situated at an elevation of 1600 m.
- Scenic Stops: On the way, stop to see the Valara and Cheyapara waterfalls.
- Overnight Stay: Arrive in Munnar for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Munnar City Tour by Car
- Breakfast: Begin your day with breakfast.
- Exploration: Experience a full-day program around Munnar:
- Drive through scenic tea plantations and visit the Tea Museum.
- Explore a Spice Garden to learn about growing spices like pepper, cardamom, and vanilla.
- Optional Activities: Depending on time and preference:
- Visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the rare Nilgiri Tahr.
- Enjoy a boat ride on Kundala Lake and visit Echo Point.
- Take a trip to Top Station, known for its high tea plantations.
- Look out for the rare Neelakurunji flower, which blooms every 12 years.
- Overnight Stay: Spend another night in Munnar.
Day 05: Munnar to Alleppey by Car
- Breakfast: Have breakfast before checkout.
- Transfer to Alleppey: Travel to Alleppey, often called the “Indian Venice” due to its water channels, beaches, and palm trees.
- Houseboat Experience: Board a houseboat for an afternoon and night sailing on local backwaters:
- Enjoy the serene landscape of lakes, rivers, and lush tropical vegetation while experiencing traditional Keralan countryside life.
- Relax and savor lunch and dinner on the houseboat.
- Overnight Stay: Overnight in the houseboat.
Day 06: Departure from Kochi
- Return Transfer: Our driver will pick you up from the houseboat and transfer you back to Kochi for your departure.

We had the most wonderful vacation, largely because Donato was a tremendous host. The trullis were comfortable and well furnished. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing.
More importantly, Donato helped us plan everything for our trip, from transportation, suggesting which towns to visit, securing reservations for dinner, etc. He is also incredibly friendly.

We had the most magical stay here, which was made more special by the excellent local knowledge and recommendations of Donato. Honestly could not have asked for more from our first trip to Puglia - it was a little paradise just outside of Alberobello and we made use of the pool, play area and terrace; we even had a starlit dip in the hot tub on our last night . Sad to leave but we will definitely be back!

The ambience of the trullo and the surrounding gardens were made for a perfect relaxing holiday. What makes this place so special is the independence you have combined with the great hospitality and services provided including a wonderful spread for breakfast, advise on places to go, where to eat and local insights, together with details on where to park. We particularly enjoyed the opportunity to join other guests to share a dining experience provided by a local family. We came on recommendation from our daughter and her husband and have already recommended it to some of our friends.

We spent our vacation at Nadia’s Traditional Greek House in October 2023. We had 2 weeks of real Greek atmosphere and spirits in this great location. The cozy and clean villa is located on the hills and has a spectacular view about the sea! Nadia gave us a warm welcome and prepared a lot of guidance and insights about the region. Nice beaches, restaurants and historic places are around. One of the best places we ever been!

Trulli Colarossa was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at! The surrounding and the homes 😍 but most of all the service and hospitality! Never had a host that was so helpful and welcoming and friendly and really made this stay enjoyable and special! Felt like you were welcomed into their little family. We stayed at Trulli Colarossa near Alberobello and it was PERFECT! The accommodation has everything we needed and the song was idyllic. Donato and his mum were so helpful and kind and we highly recommend opting for the breakfast - each evening we received a delivery of delicious sweet and savoury pastries for the following morning. The location is perfect for exploring the beautiful towns in the area and also within easy reach of the beaches and coastal areas.

We spent a very relaxing 5 days at the property. We stayed in Trulli Rossa, which has spacious and comfortable rooms. The property is kept in great condition and each Trulli has some privacy and unique characteristics. Donato and his mother were so friendly and helpful throughout the stay, checking in occasionally to make sure our stay was going well. Donato also helped make a dinner reservation for us at a local restaurant that we greatly enjoyed. The rooms were made up each day and breakfast brought in each evening. Highly recommend staying here.

This was a real gem of a find. Staying in a traditional and charming 300+ year-old Trulli was a wonderful experience. I was looking for a semi-rural location with privacy, tranquillity, gardens plus a pool/hot tub and we were not disappointed.
Donato was an excellent host. From having a friendly pre-visit video chat to sharing tips on where to visit that only a local knows was invaluable. we didn't need to ask for much as everything was well prepared and thought out in advance.
The daily treats and home-grown fruits and vegetables were also appreciated.
Do hire a car to visit other places of interest. There is a nice walk to Alberobella which is worth considering. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend staying here - you won't regret it - and I hope to return some day. Thanks Donato and family!

Masseria Trulli Colorosa is an outstanding place to stay! Very relaxing with a pool and comfortable chaise lounges. Our small Trullo was so characteristic of the area and exactly what we were looking for. We were lucky to get it as it was the last room available when I called 2 months ahead! One could not ask for a more responsive host than Donato, the proprietor. His mother Maria, who prepared breakfast is delightful. In addition to the pastries she baked, we enjoyed delicious fresh figs and vegetables from the huge garden! If you are looking for nightlife, music and being out until all hours, Masseria Trulli Colorosa is not for you. However, if you desire a small piece of paradise in beautiful surroundings and run by a delightful, friendly and kind family, make your reservations as quickly as possible! We will be back soon!

An absolutely perfect stay. The property is stunning; there’s a pool, a beautiful garden, and the buildings add an air of old-time Italy. We stayed in the Suite Felisia which has its own private garden and area, which was perfect for us as a couple. Donato was the perfect host. He is available at any time for anything (he even helped us find a mechanics when our car had trouble!) and he provides recommendations for restaurants and nearby sights. His mother leaves a beautiful homemade breakfast every morning and it’s always different and always delicious! We will be recommending this place to anyone who’s going to Puglia, and we’ll absolutely be back!!
